When something happens and things fall apart and you know you are at fault, does time away from it all make you think about it and how to make things right or do you try to forget it?

If the things you have done were your fault, there is little that can undo them. If you need to make amends to someone and can do so without harm to yourself or others, then do it and move on with your life. We have all made mistakes and many cannot be undone, so forgive yourself, learn from your mistakes and go forward with your life.
