what would you do? if you were in my situation alright i have a friend who will sell me his Ds for 50dollars (GReat Condition to he's only played it a few times). Should i buy that from him i mean it's in awesome condition, or get a DS lite for 130. What would you do?

I'd go DS lite. It really depends on how up to date u like to be. I like the lite because it's thinner but if ur not that fussed the other will play ur games still good

Ok what I would do is buy it off of him and take it to a shop and ask if I can trade it in for a ds lite for money off the lite that way it will not cost you that much if the original ds is in such good condition

it all depends on what you want. if you dont mind having the older one then i would say get that. i know the lite has many improvements to it but it also depends on how much you want to use it. if your the casual gamer who will only play it like a few hours a week, id save the money by buying your friends one. but if your going to be playing it alot, then get the DS lite.

i would go with the ds lite for 130! i have one and there awesome! i know it seems like more money but there worth it if u want more updated, instead of older! hope this helps!

the ds lite is cooler, but if you plan on using it to play gameboy advance games, they stick out about 3/8 of an inch, whick makes it look less cool, but if you dont plan on playing advance games, the lite is better.

buy your mates one....with the 80dollars you would save from doing this go and get more games
