Contact a lawyer? Contact OSHA? Contact better business bureau? I would recommend the first two though... States have different laws, and unfortunately you didn't give enough information. It depends on how you were discriminated against- if you are homosexual and the state doesn't protect that- c'est la vie. Discriminated because you're a woman- then yes. You didn't tell us how you were discriminated against. The first two would be able to file a formal complaint.

Hope this helps???

Get a lawyer. Most lawyers will allow a free consultation, whereby they will get a feel for the case, and whether or not they think they can win it. Many will also not charge you if they do not win, so you'll have to ask a lot of questions.

I don't know the laws for where you live, but you may have given up your rights to most things (like unemployment) because you quit. But a claim of discrimination might change that - another reason to get a lawyer. Keep in mind that all you might win is one one paycheck, and balance that vs. the amount of your time and money you may have to invest in a suit.

To be honest, I think this country has gotten too litigious - meaning we sue too much. Everyone these days seems to think the world "owes" them something. The best thing to do may be to let it go, forgive them in your heart, and go find a place where this stuff isn't happening.

I say this knowing how I was raised. When my oldest brother was a baby, his grandmother fed him some babyfood from a jar bought at the store. It turned out that the food was spoiled, and my brother almost died. My mother didn't sue. Some things can't be helped. There are other points of view, and suing doesn't necesarily fix things. Mostly, it just makes lawyer's rich, and clogs up the legal system.

Regardless of which way you go, I pray that your life goes in a positive direction.

To file a discimination complaint, you must go to the eeoc (equal employment opportunity commission) It Will not cost you any thing, They will investigate and file a charge if they think you have a case, and you may also get a lawyer. To get your pay you must file a complaint with the labor board of your state. Each State has one. They will also file a investigate and file charges if they feel that you are owed any money. what you must do now is get your dates and related information that proves how much you re owed and how you were discriminated against. Good luck
