Well you could have your parents set up a conference with her and the principal or go to the principal's office and ask for an appointment, tell him/her what's going on and ask what you can do to stop the harrassment. Just the word harrassment will get his/her attention and the teacher would be spoken to I'm sure. If it is not resolved ask to be in another class.

Ask your parents first if you can talk to them. Then ask yourself is she really being mean? Or is she being a 'teacher'?

Remember she is probably going to continue to teach you so it may be best to figure out if she really is mean or she is just a bit strict. If you are sure there is something definitely wrong with the way she treats you and your friends, then speak to an adult you trust, maybe your mum or dad, then only consider the Principle as a last resort.

Just try not to be impulsive. Once you've given it a bit of time to think through what the options are you will be in a better position and more confident about whatever decision you take.

Most definitely you should go to the Principal. However you should go in a group. If that does not help, then you should have your parents call the Principal to complain. The more calls the Principal receives from the parents the better. As this will prove to the Principal that the teacher has to be disciplined.

Good luck

Definitely talk to the princible. Then when you're done talking to it, write a letter to the principal. I'm sure he'll be on your teacher's case right away. That'll teach her not to mess with you and your super smart friends!

You can talk to the principal, but gather up your evidence. Witnesses, documentation ( a written record of what she says and what time and date she says it and who is a witness to it ) . When you go to the principal you might want to ask ahead to schedule a meeting and go in very professional. If your parents back you , bring them along as well. Make sure you take a witness to the meeting, someone on your own level ( a fellow student, family member, or freind - NOT someone of thier choosing) . Plan ahead how you are going to make your case. Let the principal know its serous and you plan to take action if something is not done. Tell him/her you feel as though you are being harassed, and you will not sit by and take it. Good luck!

record her, but not just once, but many many times until you've collected about 20 to 30 horrible comments- and then take that to the principle or the school board as to show that there is this a long repeated problem. It's a horrible thing to do, but it will solve the problem.

You need to talk to your teacher one-on-one and let her know how you feel before you go to the extreme of talking to the principal. Maybe she is just joking around with you guys?

Make a really embarassing poster of her and put it somewhere public -or else pre-empt her by suggesting insults for yourself before she can come out with them, and ask her straight out whether she thinks the principle and your parents will be happy enough with those comments, and if they're nasty enough to satisfy her.

Teachers who put students down should be fired totally and absolutely. They are supposed to be confidence and knowledge builders fot their students and nothing but positive influences. They don't have the right to bring their problems to work. Maybe you should even tell her she's a crap teacher and suggest that she find something else to do... like go to Iraq. (Hint-hint: The Iraquis don't take any crap, God Bless them.)

Voice your concerns with the principal. That is the first thing to do.
