I've already read all the sites that say they are odor free great pets etc and only illegal in California and New York but how odor free are they and how much of a hassle are they I cant find any site that gives any real pros and cons on them that just come out and say every problem with them. I have read they can become upset by fast movements and loud noises and if aggitated will scream and attack but they seem to be overall an easy pet to own as most of their shots are similar to cats and dogs and they are not monkeys so dont reply about monkeys being terrible pets

Kinkajous are related to raccoons but look like primates, have a prehensile tail that is sometimes used as the "fifth" hand. I had a neutered female many years ago and found her to be moody but overall a fairly likable animal. I don't suggest that you allow the Kinkajou to run the house, they can be destructive. Like any animal, you will need to clean up after it to keep odors down and the digested fruit can make that quite a chore.
