i'm already 35 years old but in good shape. i'm a class "A" truck driver and I REALLY!! REALLY!! HATE THIS TITLE!! as well as loath this type of work simply, because it's just not me. However, (here-in) lays the problem."I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL ELSE TO DO" i've taken dozens of assesment tests and found out they don't help me much, because i want to be everything!!!!!!!...example.....i want to be a.....photographer,chef,massage therapist,graphic designer,fitness trainer,fireman,plumber,a writer,computers,dancer,hairstylist,electrician,model,dancer,actor,singer,and a musician. What do you guys think..i'm really screwed up eh!!!.

i took classes in lots of different things.
i just like to learn and get lots of different experiences.
A job shouldn't feel like a job.if u go to work everyday and have fun then u found the right one .

Yep at 35 and don't know what you want to be when you grow up I would have to agree you are screwed up. Seriously though; Why not do it all I mean the major things you want to do just get off you as$ and get started you will be amazed at all you can do.
I am what some consider a jack of all trades. I currently hold 38 different Licenses/Certificates/Degrees hell I am even licensed in 27 different categories of herbicides and pesticides. Oh and just to let you know I am 51 now and didn't get really started with furthering my education until I was 26. One more thing even with all of my training I am still not satisfied with anything that I have accomplished. I guess I am making a career out of learning.
Take a part time job as a fireman to see how you would like it.
There's only three rules to being a plumber.
1 Sh!t don't run uphill
2 The boss is always a SOB
3 Paydays are on friday.
Take up photography as a hobby. Hit the parks you can find all kinds of subjects to take photos of.
Go to the clubs and learn to dance on the weekends.
You do have to know how before you can teach.
Cook your own meals you will be supprised at what you can teach yourself from taste alone.
Buy a Horner harmonica and hit a karoke bar if your lucky you can kill more than two birds with one stone.
You can learn to play; pick up a woman take her home give her a massage then cut her hair and don't forget to listen to her and you've got the therapist part covered too.
Practice makes perfect.
A little more advice don't by no means attempt to become a porn actor it takes up way to much of your time and it really is exausting. However sex is the fastest weight loss program you could put anyone on.

Leave the whole assessment thing behind you!!! What really makes your heart sing??? Only you can answer that!!
By the way...being a man who drives a class "A" truck is not such a bad thing. You are very young still and have time to do many things. You could have 2 more full careers if this is what you choose to do. Listen to your heart and go for it...this way you will never beat yourself up for not trying to fill your heart.

i think you should be a local driver who comes home each night. has a hobby or voloteers someplace. couch a team or join a group. or take some classes that are of interest to you .
i am a trucker who is knew to this all . i know i dont want to do long haul but i think i may have to as day driving is not jumping out and bitting me

instead of taking assessment tests ask yourself what you REALLY want to do.... what was the first job you ever dreamt about having as a child
