tanning - frequency vs. duration?

Question

Will I get a better tan by tanning 8 minutes every day for the next 10 straight days or going longer lengths every other day. I am using a tanning lotion with bronzer.

to the people who feel the need to tell me that tanning beds cause cancer and are going to kill me. that wasn't the question i was asking so save it for someone else. i NEVER have fake baked before, but im going to vegas for a modeling shoot in 2 weeks and cannot afford to burn and I need a base tan to avoid that.

Well first you know that tanning beds are not good for your skin and will make your skin age faster. But if I were you and wanted a good tan I would go every other day, but try not to burn. Burning is really not good for your skin..... Think of it this way, you are young now, but eventually you will get old. Is the tan today worth the wrinkles later on????? Good luck with the tan..

i don't think people should tan, unless you're getting a base tan so you don't burn when you go on your vacation i don't see the point.
i have pale skin but people often compliment it. i think tanning beds make people look fake and leathery and their skin turn a colour that is unnatural for them. if you want a bit of extra colour just use a bronzer or even go in a booth that sprays on the tan, that looks better then a tanning bed and it won't turn your skin into a piece of hide.

You should know that tanning beds can cause skin cancer. Also, they dry out your skin and make it look like leather.
