Can someone civil and intelligent answer this?

^ that question in an honest and polite manner because I was frankly disgusted with the sarcastic and sexist comments it was getting, as well as what seemed like an uninformed asker in the first place. I went back to check it today, and one of the WORST answers has four thumbs up, while mine has a thumbs down. How can people be so stupid in todays society? Did anything in my answer merit disdain??

Apparently some people seem to think I'm hurt by my answer not getting attention, that's not it, and i stated in it that some others had made good points. I'm very aware that the world is full of idiots (one of whom showed up in here, drawn by a chance to troll. congrats) I just find it ridiculous that some people can be so jaded or ignorant. I'm aware of it, I just dont get it *head shake*

So I am realy sorry about that. The reason I gave that thumbs up is not because I think it was true but it was funny and lightened my day a bit. You are right in some respects but this guy was funny to me.

Seems to me that you are a very fair person. I like those sorts of people. I think the reason it had 4 thumbs up (now 5 (again, sorry)) is because it was funny. Personaly, I didnt see it as sexest.

My answer for your base question is that people look at questions diffently. You lok at it seeriosly (which is good) and some others see it as a way to go "i can be funny here!"

We need both of those types of people or we would live a boring life.

So you can agree with me or dissagree with me now but that is my point of view.

and TEBOE7. Get a life your self. It is people like this person here that keeps the world remotly correct. He will survive and if anything, he will do better than you!!!

I went and read your answer and I thought it was very good and well thought out, which is a lot more then I can say for a lot of the answers I see on here. Do not take it personal, I have got thumbs down many times when I answer something that I put a lot of effort and thought into. Just keep in mind there are a lot of different levels of intelligence on this site....you will know that.... just seeing some of the questions and answers.

Eh...don't sweat it. You put thought into your answer and it's a bit long so, someone probably just gave you a thumbs down because they didn't want to read it all. People probably aren't this stupid in real life. The internet brings out the idiot in alot of people and they do and say things they wouldn't dare to in real life. Develop a thick skin and keep answering in a thoughtful manner. Some people do pay attention and want real answers. Honestly, I think the question is sort of stupid anyway. What are woman's games anyhow? I never knew games had a gender.

First of all, look around you, you're living in a society produced by video games. That's how people can be so stupid. And while some of the answers weren't exactly proper, they were correct, manufacturers follow the money. Hope it makes you feel better, I gave you a thumbs up. Don't be so thin skinned, you'll never survive here.

i think you've given a really good answer. anyways, yahoo!answers sadly has a certain percentage of immature,sexist, horny and weird answers/qns/comments while everyone else generally is pretty awesome.
