We never forget our relationships... he isn't over you but he very likely won't be coming back.
"Yes," you can be happy. Your happiness is something which is completely in you own hands - it's a decision. You can decide to be happy, miserable, sad, capable, unfortunate, lost, hopeful or anything you'd like... You're at a crossroads of your life and there's nothing in your way to stop you from being and feeling the way you've always wanted things to be... March on.
It's all up to you, Baby, and you only go around once.
Good luck.

That is impossible. 4 years is a long time to spend with a person without missing them and/or thinking about them. The thing is... Why did you break up in the first place? There was some reason why you wanted to go your own way. If it was bad then the chances of it changing is slim to none.

Unless he has someone and ready to move on. Otherwise, it is normally take sometimes to heal. I had been to a relationship with my ex. we broke up more than a year, but I still thinking about him once awhile, it just pop up in my head wondering what he is doing? And for him same thing, because he still called me and text messages me sometimes. But I never response back. Because, I know it is not gonna help for me to keep in contact w/him. Time will heal anything, give it more time.

Yes, you can be happy..
Happiness is a voluntary state of mind..
Work on it...
Don't invest more than 2 - 3 yrs in a relationship without marriage
after the age of 18.

sometimes people move on very quickly to help them get over the relationship and sometimes, like myself, I allow myself to grieve and take a few months for myself before dating again. You will get over it just give yourself some time.

Sorry, to hear that and am sure its ok to hurt because four years is a long time.
It also depends why you broke up.
But in all i think you can be happy, allow yourself to heal.
