Just order new ones from the county or state where the children were born. The certificate itself is only evidence of the information recorded by whatever vital statistics department you have. Changing the certificates by forgery does nothing to the real information recorded by the government.

First off, when they were born and the certificate information taken it's stored by the state in which they are born. You would contact the vital statistics office in the birth state. Go to www.cdc.gov, a website run by the NCHS, to get the phone number and address of your state’s office. Or check the government pages of the phone book. They will charge you probably around $10.00 each. Those will be the new original copies, you can't get the old ones back unless he gives them but if he produces them with the father changed, it's fraud and you can have him arrested. what a jerk!

Be patient at this point the only way the official document can be changed is through the court. So when you put them in school you do not have to use him as the father. Its not a requirement. As far as court is concerned. After a paternity test in ordered by the court if he does not comply with the courts order he can be held in contempt and arrested. Be patient it takes the court a long time to work, but it mostly does. The only time a court orders supervised visitationn is when there is abuse, but you didn't mention that. Good luck

get a solicitor to seek advice tell them everything state that he does not want to see the children and support them financially and that he has fraudulently had them made the solicitor will then tell you the ways and means you can take to retrieve the originals back this may take some time tho as things normally do but they will probably make him prove that hes tha father before anything else hope you get this sorted good luck YOU DO HAVE RIGHTS

i have that problem with my ex husband he is the paternal father to my sons and hes kept their passports and i am currently fighting him in mediation to stop him from seeing the children as hes not an able father and does not look after them properly hes not seen them for over a year

Sue him. Go to court and have them order a paternity test, or make him pay child support since he wants to be the father so bad.
