I had a dream about being held hostage in my apt. studio here at the univ. with the blinds closed in the daytime but with people otuside my window getting a tan. In the room holding me hostage were two black men with a gun each, a blond woman about my age with no weapon, two elderly stout women in wheelchairs, one white, one black, and a white infant in a cradle, which seemed to belong to the woman my age.

I don't understand the dream, but in the dream i kept trying to figure out who to leave the situation, one of the black men began to confide and cry with me about his life problems and i tricked him into giving me the gun i finally decided to jump thru my window to break the glass (im on the first floor) and i escaped.

the rest of the dream was diff and strange and borught me back to a place i have dreamt of before. it is a mall but it is a tower...why do i always go back to it?

i dont understand this dream or the significance of it.

i am not a expert on dreams but reading into your dream to put it bluntley is you need a answer to a problem that could have two completley different answers hence the black and white situation-
It seems like you might be feeling trapped about something-nowhere to run-that could be why you have people in wheelchairs-dreams can be one of two things something you have been watching or something that is upsetting or worring in our everyday lives. If that was my dream and i hadnt been watching something- i would put it down to not having a clear cut black and white answer that i feel trapped with- a situation where if i could run away from i would

Don't give too much thought to your persistent dream. There is no point in interpreting a dream to analyze a personalty or to check for any luck or forecast in store, nor a dream foretells holocausts. We dream only during a part of a cycle in sleep time, that is during semi-conscious state, playing on our worst insecurities, ambitions, self doubts, over-greed, superman fantasies and super-doom or some such inconsistencies and oddities. My oft repeated dream is my taking the snub from boss.Dreams are forgetable and neither healthy nor unhealthy. They just have to be dreamed away and taken as just dreams and we should not develop extra stress over them. I suggest you day-dream your favorite dreams and indulge in fantasies, that takes some strain off your post dream mind and carry it as rollover to nice night dreams. Happy dreaming.

It is definetly a subconcious thing...It sounds like you want to be
the hero in this dream, but are afraid to, and you finally make a
decision to do something about ur situation. Your wanting to
break free, from confinement. Perhaps, you need to go have
more fun...doing simple things u enjoy. Like throwing frisbee in a
park...just feeling free and relaxed.

I think it means you watch too much TV. Not all dreams have meaning, most dreams are just images replaying themselves in our sleep.
