I like some of Jack Chick's tracts. But these revel a legalism about him that really diverts from the Gospel message. The one found at the end of the tracts. It attempts to decide what a sinner is supposed to be sorry about, or repentative of. What if God wasn't going to work on a called Gay person on that subject?

It is believable that to Jack Chick, Homosexuality is an important thing not to be. But God knows the heart. Jack Chick perhaps means well, but he incites anger by attempting to draw Gays in the most offensive way. He misses the real eason why Sodom was destroyed, and the people in Romans 1 are cursed. That is all too common with Fundamentalists.

I always have to laugh when I see the phrase homosexual lifestyle. My (happens to be homosexual) lifestyle involves sitting around watching movies, doing jigsaws and reading books! My homosexual agenda includes:
Don't forget to pay the ComEd.
Drop off my overdue movies at Blockbuster.
Fold the laundry.
Buy milk.
The word lifestyle means how a person lives their life. Romantic attraction is a small part of that, and nothing can change it. There is no reason to change it, because it isn't hurting anything.

I think it's another ploy by the Religious Right to do away with the seperation of church and state set forth by Thomas Jefferson.

The phrase "separation of church and state" is derived from a letter written by Thomas Jefferson to a group identifying themselves as the Danbury Baptists. In that letter, quoting the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, he writes: "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."

That's all the anti-homosexual movement is a ploy to get rid of the SEPERATION of church and state. The state has NO BUSINESS being in matters of the church and the vise versa. The fact that homosexuality is NOT a church born matter means the church and the religious right need to keep their fat asses out of it. It's none of their business since the word homosexuality did NOT even exist in the original version of the bible.

The word homosexual is predominantly used as an adjective, describing behavior, relationships, people, etc. Many object to its use as a noun. The adjectival form literally means “same sex”, being a hybrid formed from the Greek prefix homo–, which means “same”, and the Latin root sex–, which means “sex” or "gender". Its first known appearance in print is found in an 1869 German pamphlet by the Austrian-born novelist Karl-Maria Kertbeny, published anonymously.

Look at that FIRST USED IN 1869 so all your biblical references are FAKE because the word did NOT exist when the bible was written. It was added later in English translations to create something else for Christians to hate.

The term ‘homosexuality’ was coined in the late 19th century by a German psychologist, Karoly Maria Benkert. Although the term is new, discussions about sexuality in general, and same-sex attraction in particular, have occasioned philosophical discussion ranging from Plato's Symposium to contemporary queer theory.

Again it's a NEW term. It did NOT exist when your precious bible was written.

Probably the most frequent assumption of sexual orientation is that persons can respond erotically to beauty in either sex. Diogenes Laeurtius, for example, wrote of Alcibiades, the Athenian general and politician of the 5th century B.C., “in his adolescence he drew away the husbands from their wives, and as a young man the wives from their husbands.” (Quoted in Greenberg, 1988, 144) Some persons were noted for their exclusive interests in persons of one gender. For example, Alexander the Great and the founder of Stoicism, Zeno of Citium, were known for their exclusive interest in boys and other men.

Ancient Greeks, known to be the most advanced ancient society were GAY. Mostly because heterosexuality was percieved a sign of weakness.

Now get over yourself.
