how would i go about changing my VZW number?

i just ended up leaving my job and i know i will start getting unwanted calls from them on my phone and i dont want to deal with having it ring and lose minutes from it. hw would i change my number and keep the same plan im on. also how much would it cost to change the number?

The thing is that if you do end up changing your number, chances are there will be a message on your old number notifying callers of the new one, keep that in mind.

You just have to call and request a number change, the most that they will charge would be a new line activation fee ($36 I think).
