I'm friends with lots of guys. I don't hang out with all of them outside of the activities(mostly sports) but they take up most of your time anyways. I always have the same problem. I'm talking to a guy from one of these activities and we have a fun conversation and tease each other and then a few days later they act like I'm not there and then I act like they aren't either. Then a few days later it happens again. Any ideas on what causes this??

k umm i didn't ask people to be rude. im just confused. if you don't have anything nice to say please don't post it. I'm looking for help not to meet bullies who are so unsure of themselves that they are rude. no I'm not looking for them to ask me out I just want to be friends....everyone is so narrow-minded these days....if u have any real help please post. if not please go away.

What is it that you want. my dear child? Do you want these guys to treat you as "one of them"? You said that interaction is limited to shared activities - sports. Would you want the interaction to go beyond just sports? In other words, do you want these guys to see you as a girl - in the social context - someone they can date or go to movies with?
You're wondering what's causing the hot/cold attitude...could it be you're sending mixed signals to these guys????

To some level it is normal, I get it too but since I am a guy, being in the center of attention or not, Is not really that big of a deal for me !!!
I really can't answer this question until you tell us more details. The fact that they start talking to you,, shows that you are attractive enough but what they stop it ? it might be you are too self-absorbed.. maybe you don't know how to behave. Maybe you say stuff that make guys feel offended.
Go and ask them directly !

you need to hang out with guys out side the sports like go out for a frendly coffee with your friends if you don,t they will only think of you as jest a team mate.
