Hey,
I bought the departed and love it, the only thing i dont understand is when they talk about the guineas, who are they? I assume they are a nationality of people but I am not familiar with that term. thanks!

For one, I love the departed, i have watched it over and over again and while I like blood diamond the departed is better. there is a reason it got the awards it did.

That term refers to the Italians. I grew up in the Boston area and used to hear it all the time.

i bought the departed DVD too and i really regret it, it ain't worth a plug nickle, i just wasted my money... you must try "Blood Diamond" its awesome! or you can watch it online if you want ;)
