Whenever I talk to/hang out/hold hands with a white guy other people give me dirty looks! What's up with that? These looks mostly come from white women.

Nah, it's ok to like white guys. I do and I'm mixed (black & white). I get the same dirty looks so don't give it a second thought. Those same people giving you the dirty looks are the same ones who probably wouldn't date the guy you're with anyhow, they just want to hate. Some people still don't like interracial dating. My advise, live your life and don't worry about what others think or how they look at you. In fact, when you get those dirty looks, plant a big kiss on your white boyfriend and smile at them. Don't even worry about what people think. They don't live your life, you do! They're idiots anyway.

That is very stupid if someone looks at you like that. I have a bf that is white as a cracker with green eyes and dirty blondish hair. Except he is straight up Mexican, our race is more common to be attracted to a white person since we are not all a common color.

I am married to a half white half Filipino man, and i'm living in Ethiopia (am ethiopian) and i get dirty looks from guys whenever i go out with my husband. But it doesn't bother me much coz i know the psychology of ethiopian men, who take everything under the sky personally and feel insulted that a girl DARED to choose anything else but an Ethiopian like themselves. That's because ours is a patriarchial society in which a girl is choosen, and doesn't choose and because ethioipan guys (just like ethiopian girls) are insecure about themselves (their masculinity, etc). And can't really blame them. Our country has got a history of 3,000 years (of killing and dying, of very patriotic stuff) and that ain't easy for a man who looks upto his fathers and grandpas for role models. To make a long story short, I think they are jealous. And insecure. The world is mixing and matching and from their point of view, there would probably not be many white men left to date for white girls soon. Not only because the media is making anything that ain't white "exotic", but also because men like adventure and experimenting; with something forbidden or is new.

The white women are racist probably. But don't worry about them. They are just jealous that you can hang out with the nice looking white guy. Good luck to you dear.

You have your own tastes........and? I used to date Mexican, Black and Asian women, cause they make me feel the same way. I didn't care how people looked at me. I took it as a compliment.
Just consider them jealous, that they can't have what you been getting. Or how about you are just so dammm foine and they wish they had looked half as good as you. Maybe they need to get some Mexican lovin themselves, perhaps that would calm them down.
BTW I'm white, and married an asian. So :-p I get dirty asian boi looks too. Its all good tho

Not your problem hon, its theirs. People as a group can be ignorant like that. I dated a woman who was a native american/mulatto mix for a couple of years and had the same things happen in public. We just ignored it. She was a wonderful person and that more than made up for their problem. And I'm sure that's how your man feels too. Cheers!

People are jealous and ignorant sometimes. Don't pay them any mind. Personally, I get the same flak and I just laugh and think they must be jealous of our tan or something. Blow them away and just smile and be friendly. If they didn't have insecurity issues, they wouldn't even care. Besides we all know the rumor is true that Latin women are the sexiest, but what can we do? :) Keep smiling.

It may depend on where you live. Is it mostly anglo-saxon and white? Are there few minority races in your area? That could explains some of the hostile glances you receive when holding hands with white guys.
Why would it be wrong? Of course it's not wrong. In fact, if people are still having problems with inter-racial romances, then those people belong with their feet in the tar pits with rest of the dinosaurs.

Everyone looks at me and my boyfriend...he is white and gorgeous and treats me like a queen...I think black people are jealous because they feel I am selling out and I think white people are mad because I took the grand prize from their prize patrol. But I like it when they stare and so does Dustin.
