Like the article said, these machines have been fitted with a privacy filter, and all you really see is an outline of a human form with outlines of any weapons the person is carrying. I would definately prefer one of these to being fondled by a TSA worker. This is less invasive than a pat-down and a lot more effective. I saw a piece on this scanner on one of the nightly network news broadcasts and honestly, you can't see any more than you can with the person's clothes on, except of course for the fact that you can clearly make out the knives or guns on the person's body. This is not an invasion of privacy, this is a huge step forward in security.

Has absolutely everyone examine the item contained in the first position? it is a answer to guard your privateness. no longer the project. a million)"TSA has placed the backscatter video exhibit gadgets in a sealed room 50 feet from the protection checkpoint, so the officials who team them won't be able to make certain you. All they can see are X-ray pictures, which seize density, no longer pigment" 2) ". In a strip search for, the officer sees you precisely as you're. On a computer screen, the photo could properly be filtered." 3) "the 2d secret's that the officer who sees you on the computer screen in no way sees you contained in the flesh" Regards!! // --------- Edit ----- It provides a clean measurement to the expression "someone were given digitally penetrated"

sounds a lot like the endtimes stuff about taking the mark of the beast to me. I don't believe in the mainstream Christian idea of the 'pre-rapture'. The idea of the pre-rapture is a funny concept created by John Nelson Darby back in the 1800's. So, to me it means that when the end times actually get here, people will be subjected to X-Ray invasion, human RF chiping, computer monitoring, etc. There will be no such thing as Privacy in the endtimes. During those days, people who refuse to be bullied by the AntiChrist will be hunted down and forced to accept the system or die. I just can't help but believe that things are getting closer and closer to that time! And like I said, there is no pre-rapture, those of us still alive in those days will have a tuff time trying to survive.

If you're worried about privacy from a worker who views thousands of those a day and does not give a rats *** what you look like naked, then you need to find something else to worry about. You don't even look naked on the screen images, it's just an outline. People don't care whether it could save lives or not, they just want something to complain about.

Well, if they have to, they have to. If you don't want to go through the 'naked body scanner', don't travel on airlines.
