Sometimes. I have to live by a budget, otherwise I'd have no clue and probably no electric!. It's tough but having a budget is the only practical way I know how to live, find better jobs, preach college to my kids etc!.

No it isn't hard for me but I'm the one doing it. My husband makes a certain amount each paycheck but he likes to work overtime for us so that much is either put in the bank or make extra payments on our car that not much is to it.
He used to do all the finances but when he started working the overtime he was too tired, so I started taking it over just to give him one less thing to worry about/do when he is home.
So far it has been easy, and the extra money has been nice....

yes and no
yes it's hard because there are things you want, so it takes willpower. you also have things come up that you aren't expecting
no it's easy, you just have to sit down and do it.
1. Figure out exactly how much money you have comming in.
2. Figure out what your fixed expenses are (they are same each month)
3. Figure out what your flexable expenses are and average them (bills that vary, property taxes, etc.)
4. Alot for that unexpected something in your budget so you aren't as blindsided if something comes up.

yes
1/ buy an exercise book...draw up columns..1.banking 2. bills/petrol 3 food 4. luxuries..etc..
2/ banking= how much money in wallet. ie $75.. bought food $45..total at end of day..=$30 left..WDL $300 (balance=$200)from bank account ....wallet =$330...
end of day amount in wallet should match amount in book...
it takes about 5 minutes each day..but is very useful in knowing exactly how much money in wallet...and in bank..
After 1 year total up all the bills, food, petrol, luxuries and you will have a map of where your money went and thus can budget for it..
I have started and stopped after a year...and now have started again.. it works...just take time each day..

for me.... it's not.. i work a lot and dont really have enough time for many things... i dont have cable... or anything crazy... or extra.. besides internet. it used to be though when i was a teenager. the trick for me is... i got a checking acct.. and then on every check i put all my money in there.. that way im not carrying around cash that "i just have to spend..." b/c if it's money in my pocket... better belive it's gone.. another thing is get a notebook and write down when things are due and how much they are for every month, this should help.. also if your having trouble remembering the dates... put them on your calendar and write them in a bright color or a reminder on your cell phone.. until you can remember.
Hope this helps ya:) good luck:)

If you write down your budget and stick to it, it isn't that hard. And why be honest? "Cause you get caught in enough lies, you are then found to not be trustworthy, nor respected.
