I have been easily gagged here lately.. tonight I just thought about something and I started to gag?? Is this a normal thing during pregnancy?? My boyfriend didn't flush after peeing and I seen it and it made me gag... This kind of stuff didn't use to bother me?? I don't know if I am pregnant or not yet because I haven't tested because I am not late on my period yet.... its due in 2 days.. could this be a symptom?? Oh and does peeing a lot in the first 4-6 weeks even happen yet?

100% NORMAL!

I have not been able to eat eggs for 22 weeks now! Raw meat sends me gagging and running to the other room. It could be a symptom. If you get a test now, most of them can determine the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before your missed period. if you get a negative reading and you are still late in 3 days... take the second test (usually 2 in a kit)

if your aunt flo does not come within a week. make a doctors appointment so they can draw a blood test.

and yes. peeing alot can happen within the first few weeks, slow down, then increase once the baby gets bigger.

Wow, i was actually looking up the answer to this same question.. I am also experiencing the same symptom's as you and wondering if i could be pregnant.. I think i would be about 5 weeks if i am pregnant.. it's driving me insane and i know it's too early to take a test.. as you can see it's almost 2am EST and i am still wide awake...

I gag at everything almost now, frequent urination, car sick feeling, and right now i have awful heartburn..

I have found a lot of sites on the internet that say that gagging could be a symptom and also i have read a lot of testimonials from other woman that say they have or have known someone to have symptoms as early as right after conception and that have lasted from short periods of time all the way up until time of delivery..

let's keep our fingers crossed *that's if u are wanting to get pregnant* :) cuz i know i am sure hoping i am.. and wait a few days take a test.. if it comes out neg. and u still don't get your period then wait another few days and take a second one *two pack test*.. that's what i am going to do..

my friend just found out she was pregnant before a few days before she was supposed to start.. she took 3 dollar tests from family dollar and they all showed positive - she even tested in the evening.. so if u aren't looking to spend a lot of money that might be helpful..

any other questions feel free to email me or instant message melissa_1016@yahoo.com

It's amazing what women will attribute to pregnancy if they are either hoping to be pregnant or fearful of being pregnant.

You are still 2 days away from your period - if you have conceived, your baby would have only just completed or be still completing implantation at the moment, and only *just* starting to release hCG into your body to help sustain the new pregnancy. The hormone levels would be very low indeed, and whilst they may be just high enough to be picked up by a pregnancy test (blood or urine) they would not be high enough yet to be causing secondary symptoms of pregnancy.

At this stage, anything happening to your body is most likely either nerves/excitement, normal hormonal PMS/PMT style symptoms, or possibly a mild gastrointestinal infection.

Of course, when this happens to women and they turn out to be pregnant they always say "see?? I told you so!" when in reality this happens to many women who are not pregnancy also.

About 3-4 weeks after conception (5-6 weeks into the pregnancy) is when the true secondary symptoms of pregnancy really kick in - like PMS/PMT that lingers on and on and then starts to increase in intensity accompanied possibly by nausea and tiredness, and a need to urinate more frequently, which kicks in around week 5 post conception (about 7 weeks into the pregnancy).

Just relax and rather than try and identify every tweak and twinge as a symptom of pregnancy, wait a few more days and take a home pregnancy test, which is a whole heck of a lot more reliable than vague symptoms that really could be anything.

You might just be getting sick...Allthough I would say I had both of those symptoms with my second pregnancy. Gagging and peeing alot really early on. You should be able to take a test in the next couple of days, sounds like you want to be prego?? Good luck if that's the case!

OOOOOOH yeah, it's normal. In fact, after my first I knew immediately I was preggers when I went to brush my teeth in the morning and started gagging before I could even get the brush in my mouth. For 9 mos. it was a struggle to brush without throwing up. it sometimes took several times to succeed. The peeing oh yeah! that too.

Sounds like you're on your way! God Bless Sweets!

When I was pregnant, the thought of pork would make me gag. My husband blowing his nose made me gag. I would gag so much, that I started throwing up over the same things. It really sucked when i would order a baked potato and they would forget that I said not to put bacon on it. It was always a race to the restroom.

When I was pregnant, all kinds of things made me gag. Like when the milk started getting warm while your eating a bowl of cereal, the taste of toothpaste, any piece of fat in meat, the list goes on. Seems awfully early though, did you have a normal period last month?

I REMEMBER THIS ONE TIME VERY EARLY ON IN MY PREGNANCY, MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN WORKING IN THE CRAWL SPACE UNDER THE HOUSE...HE CAME UP FROM THE BASEMENT SMELLING LIKE DIRT...I STARTED GAGGING AND HEAVING...BARELY MADE IT TO THE BATHROOM IN THE NEXT ROOM...EGGS, BRUSHING MY TEETH, MEAT OF ANY KIND WOULD ALL MAKE ME GAG TOO...JUST ONE OF THOSE LOVELY PREGNANCY SYMPTOMS...BUT MINE GOT MUCH BETTER AFTER THE 1ST TRIMESTER WAS OVER. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.
