i have had 3 res for about 9 months. i noticed today that the tip of one of there tails is bleeding. it doesn't seem to have an injury to it and i can't figure out why it would be bleeding. any suggestions as to what this may be caused from.

Most likely one of the other turtles bit it. You shouldn't keep them in the same tank, they will fight.

One of the other turtles biting it. I got my red bcs he ate all the feet off the other turtles in the tank. You need to find the agressive one and seperate it ASAP.

It was probably bitten by one of the turtles. If the tank is a bit crowded, they can easily become rather aggressive.

Are the 3 RES together ? One of them is tail nipping.. you might need to separate the offender.
