people take potshots at Bush over his public speaking skills and general distaste for the American people, but the level of offensiveness here is beyond tha pale. American politics have become less credible than American Idol. If a man had given utterance to the odiferous slime that oozed forth from Coulter's thinly disguised reptilian maw, what do you think would have happened?

robot- so who's it with the what now calling the troops idiots? or are you rhinking about Kerry's statement about not being a screw up and ending up in Iraq, which had everything to do with Bush specifically. Kerry was there, actually there, for multiple tours, and there is no way in hell that a reasonable person who knows ANYTHING of his background would buy the fox/ swiftboat/ republican hatchet job of saying that Kerry does not respect our fighting men and women.

I'm no defender of Bush, but his public speaking "skills" are criticized for his mangling of the english language and what that implies.

Coulter, on the other hand, can be quite well spoken. She's very bright. So her remark on Edwards is not a fault of poor "speaking skills" but rather a statement on her "values" and opinions and attitudes towards anyone non-Coulterish. It shows the true Ann, and believe me, it's not a pretty sight.

Disregarding gender, Ann Coulter, is a mean spirited, vicious person that due to her own short comings, repulsive looks and lack of true knowledge must lash out to give herself some reason to live. Giving her any kind of forum is like feeding raw meat to an animal. I say, she should become non existent by the news media ignoring her or should I refer to her as an it.

At least it's not as bad as calling our troops idiots. AND she did apologize to gays for the slur. No one wants to be compared to Edwards, after all.
