I'm 16, not sure how tall, probably between 5 2 and 5 5, I weigh 113 lbs. I know, small :]

I'm already stronger then most people my size and age, but I'd still like to put on a little muscle, although I don't have the desire to me massive or anything, just mainly have some bigger arms, mostly for purposes of actually using them, looks is just a bonus i guess, i was never into how i looked much, hell i normally go out in old pants a stained shirt and not even brush my hair.

Anyways, to the point, would I, and how fast would I gain muscle doing push ups once a day, starting at 30 or so, and working my way up too...how ever many I can do.

Should I push for twice a day? add in some pullups? I think I have a bar for the doorway in the top of my closet somewhere that used to be my brothers, other then that all I have is a old 10lb weight that used to be my sisters, I would like to avoid buying any new equipment.

i get a "running" work out almost everyday. I do PE which gets me plenty, and i do different random sports with friends after school almost everyday for fun, and i get their by biking, so I think I have legs covered.

first do 25 push-ups twice a day, morning and night
then advance up to 3 times a day
and then 4.

as for pull-ups,
do them with you knuckles facing you, not outward.
it's harder and is better.
do as many pull-ups as you can.
when you are able to do 15-20 pull-ups that is in GREAT shape.

yes do push ups and make sure to work out your whole body so everything can look right. cuz u dont want big old arms and some scrawny legs. so as i said try aiming for 3 reps of 15 pushups every other day. on your off days run and do situps. cuz each part of your body needs rest after working it out.
