I know how to change the size of desktop icons alltogether, but is there a way to make certain ones a different size? Like if I wanted the main ones to be bigger? And what about the font on the desktop, can I make it various sizes as well??

I just found a program called Microangelo Studio that should be able to do it, if I feel like spending 5 years to learn all the stupid features of this extremely confusing program. I don't want to do it that bad!!

Kind of.

With some work.

You would need to enlarge the main ones, then manually resize the others in an editing program (16 X 16 or whatever size your looking)

Or, make them proportionate, say 25% original size, but the icon itself is still the same size, but the rest of the background is clear. This could be a kind of "illusion" to windows.

You can work around it, but not without effort.

You can change the resolution of the screen to make the icons bigger or smaller. Higher res. smaller icon. lower res. bigger icon. You an get to that by right clicking on your background and selecting properties. Go to the settings tab and select your resolution (there should be a little slider bar or pull down menu that you can adjust the resolution with.)
