The choice is yours to make, but personally, I wouldn't trust someone who did that to me. Really, what is so significant about being 26 that suddenly made him realize that his "sweet days of youth" are over?

So let's get this straight - he talks marriage then cheats on you and you want to know if you think it's logical to trust him?
I would have to say "NO".
For him to make the excuse that he needed to do it because it would be wrong for him to do it after marriage is very lame.
How many times has he told you he loved you before he cheated? Is a person that says he loves you and cheats trustworthy? He's been with you for 6 years now and he still needs to cheat - There are couples that get divorced in less than six years for the same reason. I think if you were smart you'd find someone a whole lot more honest and trustworthy to marry.

I see no reason to trust him. 6 years of a good relationship and he pisses all over it because he wanted to "enjoy the sweet days of youth". Let him enjoy those days alone (or what is left of them). Move on!

"the sweet days of youth"!!!! men at 50 cheat whats his excuse then "just trying the sweet youth".honestly...if it was me he would be gone...me and my husband have talked about cheating, and I know if one of us did that...especially all that time together...we would leave...you say you forgave him...great, but can you forget..can you let him go out with his boys and feel comfortable with it? good luck

To trust him or not has to be YOUR deicsiion alone. Since no one here on this board knows him (or you for that matter) we have no idea what is inside his heart. You SHOULD know him better than we do...if you don't well you have to figure this one out for yourself.
