yes people do, its messy but i would say no more or less hygienic than sex any other time.

Me and my boyfriend have sex when I'm on my period. and no there is no hygienic issues with it. To be honest it feels much better. And we don't use a condom or anything and just after that we just take a shower

Sure; in fact, sometimes it's even better than normal times, if neither of you are bothered by it. Just use a towel (underneath her) and pay more attention to cleaning up afterwards.

Yes they do!!! No there's no hygiene issues, just wear a condom and all the hygiene issues your worried about are taken care of!!!! Just do it!!!

well my husband and I do. Just make sure that you use a condom and put down a towel or something just in case.
