What is the best eyeliner? liquid? pencil? certain brand?

Get a pencil by MAC. Liquid is pretty messy unless you have a super steady hand. MAC makeup is really good. Or try a pencil by Bobbi Brown.

It depends on what kind of look you are going for. If you want a cat eye look or a mod look use liquid liner. If you like to line underneath your eyes use pencil. You can also use a soft kohl pencil if you like to line the inner rim of your eye. Also, gel liner is fun to work with and easier then liquid liner. Some of the best pencil liners are Rimmel ( love all the colors that they have and are very inexpensive), Avon glimmersticks and luxury liners. If you want to use liquid cover girl has liquid liner pens that are very easy to use. Smashbox makes great gel liners that I like and am using right now.

Cover Girl liquid eyeliner is the best! It works just as well as the dept. store brands...

All eyeliner are different, some will agree with you and some will make your eyes water a good one to buy is Innoxa, it seems to be gentle on the eyes.

I would have to say liquid, it goes on smoother than pencil. It's easier to put how much you want on your eyes. I would go for Revlon or Cover Girl either one works.

The best eyeliner is maybe if your african-american: choose a coffe brown eyeline, Or if your white: Have a dark black eyeliner!

i like the prestige pencil- about $5 in drugstores and it is AMAZING. if you want to go more high end, the "zuzu" brand available in whole foods shops or online is really great for blending. MAC is also a solid choice.

A great liquid is by Bourjois. Pencil is from MAC. Also from MAC is their gel liners.

I use eyeshadow as an eyeliner. It's much faster than any other, plus it's convenient. But if if you don't like that go with almay, it will even tell you which one to use depending on your eye color!!

personally i use Mary Kay eyeshodow and a eyeliner brush wet the brush and use the eyeshadow as an eyeliner
