I'm a man in my late 30's and i have a very thick beard ..and you are going to laugh at this but i have told friends about this and they have started to use the same stuff.."Gillette.Satin Care for Women" go ahead laugh but my wife has extremly thick leg hair and i noticed one day after she shaved that her legs where so silky soft and smooth..so for the hell of it i go out one of her new razor..also gillette for women and used the Satin Care gel that turns to foam..and i have to be honest with you that my face had not been that smooth in years..so out went the expensive tripple blade replacements and i've been using her brand of stuff and so have a few of my friends and we have very smooth and not dry or irritated skin either..so you can either laugh at it or take it seriously and enjoy and nice smooth shave and look.

I don't know where you are. I'm in India and in my opinion, Godrej shaving cream is the best here.

I have heard that Aveda is good and here is a blog article that has a good review. Too expensive for me though.
