He's 17, yet appears nude on stage..Isn't that child pornography?

A) Equus is not a new play. It was written in 1975.
B) Daniel is 17. The age of consent is 16 in the UK. Child pornography laws vary from country to country, so I doubt that appearing nude at 17 in the UK is illegal.

not if he gets consent from his parents and there is no sex involved. I believe some government official has to be present but I am not sure about that. In American Beauty there was a topless scene with a girl looking out the window she was only 17 and it was legal

It isn't if he agrees 2 it and the play is legal. If it wasn't then why are they showing the play.

Not in the UK and it is artistic license. How the act is considered lewd is determined by British sentimenalities.
