I don't get much back, as I can't claim too much on my tax unless you have receipt for certain things. But what little I do get back I just save it. Boring I know but I like to know I have some money in case I want to travel. I got the oportunity to travel with some family members and if I hadn't have saved I wouldn't have been able to go. So I think saving is a good thing, I do that after every pay day.

We are going to Disney World. :-)

Some people say we should adjust our forms so that we pay less to taxes every month and come out even every year, but you know what, that money wouldn't be saved like what we now have in the bank right now. My husband earned enough that our return is comparable to yours (somewhat more, but there are three of us dependents here...) Plus the state return, it makes a good way to do things like pay off a credit card (last year) or do things for fun this year.

Getting Back? What does that mean? It's been years since I got back anything on a tax return. After my kids grew up and couldn't claim them as dependants, tax refunds went out the door.

My son is getting back about a$1000.00 and his girlfriend who is single with 2 kids is getting back about $7000.00. Must be nice.

None. My husband had to retire due to illness and I am his main caregiver. I miss working and getting those tax checks back. The most we ever got was about $4500.00, with all the deductions we were able to have.

I don't file a tax return. If I did and got a lot of money back I'd give some of it to my Daugher and Son-in-law and some of it to my Church.

I am going to get about 450, not that much, I am sure that most of this will go to my house bills and food. I wish I could keep it though. I would probably go shopping for my new house!!!
