There is little difference between the two. If you kill, then you murder. I think to kill an insect is the same thing as murder. God created all animals and people as equal, so to kill an insect or another human being is Murder. Yet we all do it because we cannot be overun by pests. Farmers have to spray their fields in order to produce a quality cropt, they're murdering and killling insects. Some insects are good. But in order for them to make a living they have no choice. If you see a spider in your house you will kill it. This is murder in my mind. Yet I do it all the time just as you do. Have you ever killed a mosquito that was biting you? This was murder! God forgive us, it's what we have to do to survive.

"Murder" is a legal term, so it follows that "murderer" is someone who commits a legally defined act of terminating a life without a legal excuse (such as self-defense). "Killer" is a broader term. Therefore, a murderer is also a killer, but a killer might not be a murderer.

a murderer.... cos
if i kill someone, it would be for a personal reason ---hate, revenge, vengeance blablabla.
A killer could be someone who does it as a job(professional killer, assasin), without the intent or passion for doing something...
In my opinion, a killer could be classified under "psychopath wihout conscience".
