Sweetheart that's rather easy. If you don't mind letting me share a little wisdom I learned from a 90 year old lady several years back.

The only reason relationships fail is... People get tired of trying hard or get too lazy to try harder. Anyone can work it out of they put their minds to it. Sadly we live in a disposable society. When the feelings get stale it's easier to get a new toy and throw the old one away. We do it with almost all faucets of life, cars, homes, apartments, furniture, friends, lovers.

Always remember this... Take the L out of LOVER, then its OVER!!!

They don't. More often than not it's not that they fell out of love with someone suddenly-it's just that they fell in bed with someone else. I know a married couple who have been married for 21 years and all of a sudden the wife tells my friend that she's no longer in love with him. This happened right after she got back from Florida for the third time in one year. I came right out and asked her, "Who were you f#$%ing down in Florida?" She got upset and started with the crocodile tears thing, but she knew I had her up against the ropes. They have two boys, teenagers. I said to my friend Tom,"That's B.S.. Her saying that is as stupid as waking -up one morning and saying, "I'm not going to love my kids anymore." It just doesn't work that way. Anyway, he kicked her *** to the curb and has a much better woman and mother for his sons. Yes- she was cheating. Tom intercepted two love letters from her unemployed Florida bum-for-a-boyfriend.

It wasn't love at all if it can be suddenly turned off.
You can continue to love someone even when they have disappointed or harmed you. You can learn to stop desiring the other but it takes a long time.

i think you can still love someone but not be in love. but then some days i wonder if all that in love stuff is a crock. maybe its all just love. Then maybe one day you discover you may love someone but you are looking for a different kind of love? Or a different kind of person..and even if you still love them you cant have them anymore. i dont really know

If its suddenly, either something changed them really bad, or they never were in love in the first place.

true love is a very hardy flower, and although you may be attracted to someone at first glance true love takes time to grow and must be nurished with compassion and thought for the other. and know this true love does not die easily. ( KEY WORDS ) true love. if true love died as easily as you are talking then there would be no heartbreaks and heartaches.

people grow and feelings start to fade away ... or maybe that person wasn't really in love and was just pretending ( probably more in love with the possibility of being in love)
