Are there any smoke-free pachinko parlors in Japan? Thanks. (And do you have to be over 21 to play?)

There are many pachinko parlors with smoke-free floors. I know of one totally smoke-free parlor in Osaka, but this is just for females.

You need to be 18 or over to play. Also, even if you are 18, high school students are not allowed.

The two earlier answerer's are in heaven. The pachinko parlors where they are must be so advanced, it would make the pachinko parlors way down in the southern part of Japan look like back water holes. I have never seen or heard of smoke-free parlors down here in Kagoshima. When my friends walk out of those places, they smell like an ash tray.

I wish there were smoke-free parlors. It is even hard to find a truly smoke-free restaurant down south.

Smoke-free pachinko is not something I have ever seen, but a state of the art pachinko parlor has good enough ventilation that smoke is not such a big issue. I guess your supposed to be 20 to play pachinko, but no one really checks on that.
