Members of the Reserve Police Battalion 101 participated in the round-up and expulsion of mostly Jews but also Poles and Gypsies, the guarding and liquidation of ghettos, the deportation to concentration camps, and mass shootings.

I changed it a bit but I am trying to get it away from the origional to avoid plagarism charges. i just like how this wording is so much, any ideas?

The Reserve Police Battalion 101 were involved in many of the [Nazi] activities, such as rounding up and expelling Jews (but also Poles and Gypsies), guarding and getting rid of ghettos, deporting to concentration camps, and mass shootings.
Something along those lines. I put the [] around Nazi because I'm not sure if you want that in your paper or if it has to do with the reserve battalion, but it might be good to use if it is.

That's alot to fit into one sentence. Maybe this will work for you:

If I were you I would quote it correctly and use it as a footnote in my paper.
Remember it is okay to use quotes from others in your papers as long as you give them credit.
