how can the pattern of your period change with the people you hang out with? ive been hanging out with new people and friends with the recent class change..but how can this affect it? is it a myth?

it's definitely not a myth yet I have no idea why or how it happens. I use to work at a clinic with nurses and after about 5 months, my period was in routine with all of theirs. The doctors hated it because they had to work with 8 PMSing women at the same time. But oh well! lol I know other women say it happens where they work and even in college dorms. But I have yet to read any study on how our bodies get in tune that way.

Not a myth it is in fact possible for your period to change and match another woman who is always in close proximity

There have been studies of groups of women even family who live together, will synchronize periods within a few months. There is a lot of stuff on the internet about it.

It is weird as heck. I used to work with 13 women. We were (and still ARE) on the same schedule. The boss' husband won't even come IN the shop when it's *that time*! I don't know how it works - but it does!

haha that could have something to do with why we all go to the bathroom together! I've had mine change because of getting a new job and working with a bunch of girls

i'm not sure how it happens, but it does... when i got a step-mum and sisters we were all on different weeks, as soon as one of us finished another one would start, but after a couple of months the 3 of us all had them in the space of about a week and a half of each other lol its weird huh?

it seems to be true. ive lived with 4 girls for almost two years now and it seems like we're all on the same schedule now. i don't know what the reason for that is though.

it all has to do with hormones and when you hang out with girls a lot. i know its weird but it happens.
