I heard that Mac is some of the worst make up that you can get. It is more like stage makeup so it is not light on your skin. You seem like you want to look natural but like you actually took some time in the morning to put yourself together. All you need is a little foundation. I suggest Cover Girl Clean Make up. It is in a glass bottle. If you are light skinned you may want to use the color called buff beige. I am light to and that is what works for me. To get that glow that you want you need to get a natural colored bronzer. They come in all different ways so go to the make up section and look for bronzers. You can use a light shimmery eye shadow that will glisten in the sun such as Maybelline Roller Colors. It's the best stuff because it literally rolls on. It's in the same container as roll on lip gloss. If you can't find that then just look for a light loose shimmer that you can apply with a eye shadow brush. For your lips just use a natural lip gloss. Don't go to dark or to shinny. You might try the color black/brown for mascara. Lastly when you decide to wear eye liner you should only wear it from the outside corner of the top eyelid to somewhere towards the middle, you decide, If you wear it all the way across it tends to make your eyes look smaller. As you get towards the center of the eyelid with the eye liner begin to make the line thinner so that it blends with the skin. Same idea for under the eye. And remember not to make the eye liner to thick of a line, it's to define your eyes not to use as eye shadow. I know this was long but I hope I helped in some way!

First I would try something to exfoliate the skin maybe once or twice a week and get a mositurizer that says it brightens the skin. For foundation, I think I would go to estee lauder or clinique department in Macy's or some other store that has these departments and tell them you are looking for some new make up. They are normally really very helpful and will offer advice and help with color choices. If not within your budget, sometimes Wal mart, target, and some other store have trial size make up you can purchase. Normally you get like three different shades with the purchase. This could help you decide on a color. I always liked the Loreal brand. They have a foundation that is called feel naturale, it comes in liquid and cream to powder compact. It is light and is suppose to feel like you are not wearing make up, maybe a classic ivory, natural ivory or natural beige. They also have a newer one that is called infallable, it is suppose to cover blemishes, not rub off, and no shine. Same colors would apply. Try a loose powder, they have one of these that is called translucide. It is suppose to give you a healthy glow and not get cakey. I would go with light. Get some pretty colors in eyeshadows, according to eye color, if brown eyes I think pinks and browns are nice. A good mascara that says it will not clump, try not overdoing with the mascara, nothing worse than clumpy lashes, maybe an eyeliner and some natural or light colored lip gloss and you are set. It should not take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to put this on after you get the hang of it. Experiment a little with different colors, look through magazines and see what colors you might like and the different ways make up can be applied. Soon enough you will be a pro. Good luck and hope this has helped a little...

One thing that might give your skin a glow is artificial tan. I've never used it, but it is much healthier for you than sitting out in the sun, baking all the time.
I started using makeup about four to five months ago. This is what I use:
I use a simple mascara, eyeshadow just on my eyelids and not above (buy a case with many colors, you can match your eyeshadow with your outfit :)), a stick of bronze eyeliner (brown and bronze colors look good on me and it's not so harsh looking like black eyeliner), sometimes I wear a little bit of blush if I look pale, and usually some powder cover up. At the makeup section in your store, the cover ups should have a little information next to it to help you find which cover up tone looks best on your skin.
I use Pro-Activ and it really helps a lot. If you want to use it, I recommend starting out with using it once a day, not twice, like it says on the bottle. When I started using it, I did it twice a day and it made my skin sore and red. So, I just did it once a day for about a month and now my skin is used to the twice a day routine!
Good luck!

If your looking to wearing makeup everyday i suggest using a tinted moisturizer. There great for your skin, even out skin tones and blemish and will last all day plus you can get one a shade darker then your skin tone for night time and it will still look great with out looking chalky or over used.
Then if you use natural eyeshadow colours for the day and amp it up of a night you cant go wrong.
Then simply use mascara and a pretty wet look lip gloss and the cat is in the bag!
Trust me this will work. i get people coming in to work all the time saying they want a natural everyday look and i use this and they all rave about it!
So give it a go, it cant hurt!

maybelline-creme matte mousse
- it feels gerat and is so light
or you can use mineral makeup (i believe its called) and its just a compact with a whole bunch of different colours in it. You swipe your brush in all the colours and it makes your skin tone even.
As, for lips. get a light natural lipglosss for now. Maybe a Victoria Secret Pink lipgloss. Just have fun but don't get too carried away.
And, if this doesn't help go to a cosmetic store (such as Sephora) and tell a representive what look you want and they should help accomplish the task.
Hope this helped and not bored you! lol =)

advice is that you need to find a product that will moisturize and protect your skin from the sun. try olay total effects or if you want some coverage try clinique, mac or nivea tinted moisturizer with spf..
if you have eye bags or blemishes you can add some concealer using ring finger, latex wedge sponge or concealer brush and blend in.
use some cheek tint or creme to powder blush for a more natural look.
set the makeup with some powder so that the tinted moisturizer and concealer doesn't run and streak.
add some shimmery peach or nude eyeshadow on your eyelids using a round tip brush or your ring finger.
brush on some bronzer or lightly colored shimmer blush to the apples of your cheeks going upwards toward your temples. it should be lighter than your cheek tint to create an illuminated effect.
you may want ot line the outer corner of your top lid for an illusion of thicker lashes.
curl your lashes and add some mascara.
use a pale white or nude shimmery eyeshadow (lighter than the one you used for your lids) and appy to your browbone(under your eyebrows) for highlights, make sure that it is visible but not too bright or else it will overwhelm your whole look.
add some pink/clear or nude lip gloss

bare minerals! Feels like you're wearing nothing, gives great coverage, won;t clog pores, and it won't look all cakey. You can even fall asleep in it and wake up with no breakouts and etc.
Use a bronzer to give your face a nice sunkissed glow.
eyeliner -almay the one that lasts 16 hours to it won't smear
and waterproof mascara so if you cry, its humid, sweating or what not it won't drip off your face.
Use chapstick then a lipgloss on top.

Don't use a lot of makeup, it dries out the skin. The best beauty tip that I can give you is to drink a lot of water. Water nourishes the skin. If your skin is dry, use a moisturizer such as Oil of Olay. When you do wear make-up such as eyeliner, blush and shadow, use it sparingly. You want these products to enhance your natural beauty.

For now Just stick to a soft cover-up, like Covergirl Trueblend, that is the best... and maybe some soft lipstick. Once you get used to that you can start wearing eyeliner/eyeshadow...

its good that you use face cream and cleanser.
i suggest MAC facepower....its kinda pricey but they match you their on the spot. you only need a little bit if your really light try something rosy on your cheekbones.
you might wanna try some mascara dark brown...also
for eyeshadow and such earthy colors are good
and a rose tinted lip gloss is always great
good luck if you need anymore let me know
