I think Bill Gates is still the richest man in the world.

As far as increasing your profit with less investment, use what is called leverage. To leverage is to use money you borrow to make a profit, then return that money and keep the difference. Some examples:

-Start a business by taking out a loan. Pay back money in installments (for equipment and also for renting the property).
-Write a business proposal to a venture capital firm. If you have a great idea, explain to them how you can make money on it and they may pay you money. But you usually have to pay back the money and some interest in 5 years.
-Open a brokerage account and what is called a margin account. With a margin account, you can borrow a certain amount of shares from your broker, but you must pay back all the shares plus some interest or fees.
