Well, okay, I am in seventh grade, and next week we need to write a persuasive essay. I was gonna write about how I think that the speed limit in neighborhoods like the one I live in should be lowered or more reinforced. Cuz so many cute widdle animals get hit by cars every day, and there's so much noise at night. That's probably cuz of the casino a few miles down. Maybe I should write about how casinos should only be built in the city. Or that video games are too violent, but I think a lot of peeps R doing that. Or recycling, but I'd have too much to write about. I'm so confused. Does anyone think these ideas are good or have any other ideas? Thanks a bunch.

yes it is very good that u have thought about what is happening around. it shows you are indeed concerned about your area.

perhaps the topic isn't the main concern for a persuasive essay. it's how you show that the topic is important enough for you to write about it. this means you have to include the consequences of neglecting the subject involved.

try to get statistics about your topic in question, but u dun have to do survey or all that stuff, because its just an essay. instead maybe if you try to research online abt statistics on your key area it may helped. some teachers just love factual figures as evidence.

i think the part about building casinos in the city is a pretty good one. oh and the one about violent games is good too! dun be afraid to write about that just because its too common. if ur essay is of good quality, it will shine through.

in conclusion just remember to write about the important consequences, and dun write out of point! always look back at your question every few minutes to make sure u are on track.
try to phrase your question such that it can have open answers, and not trap yourself into writing certain key points, if you noe what i mean.

hope this helps! good luck!

How about an essay why you think pet owners should have to have their pets neutered or spayed. Then the pound would not have to kill so many unwanted pets. You say you love cute animals.

I run into people giving away puppies and kittens because they let their animal reproduce. Many of those animals get killed by our Human Society today because people are stupid.

Make it a law that pet owners take responsibility or pay a big fine. Show pictures of animals behind bars, that is persuasive.

Those are great.
Some of my students had a lot of fun and wrote about why they thought the legal driving age should be lowered to say twelve years of age. Those were pretty fun to read, though some of them had a hard time finding evidence to back their essays up (you seventh graders can be pretty persuasive in some of your arguments, though).

i think of the terrific element someone ought to write approximately to purpose and be persuasive is the ambience. do it in a manner which you're basing it to gordon brown (or the president of the place you reside) and attempting to persude him and all of us else to recycle and get entangled in activites to maintain this planet healthful believe me, it somewhat is this way of sturdy subject rely, i've got been given an A* for doing something on that

I think that you should write about a topic you know the most about.
