Ok...PLEASE DON'T LAUGH! Wrestling is all fake right? I mean there's no way you can get hit that many times and survive. And I mean the majority of the time, they have little scipts and stuff.

But if it's fake, was the John Cena getting stabbed thing also fake or what?

I remember that incident; it was intended to give Cena time off to rest up from an injury. So no, he wasn't actually stabbed. Bruiser Brody, on the other hand...

As for the legitimacy of pro wrestling, of course they're not trying to hurt each other. Some strikes and submissions are either pulled or not applied full force to reduce pain and injury. The wrestlers are trained to know how to land in order to reduce the chances of a serious injury during a move. Still, they do experience pain in the form of bumps, bruises, cuts (if the match calls for blood), and if somebody messes up, serious injuries.

However, they do have to sell it like it hurts and the good ones are able to convey that to you. Of course, if a wrestler gives another wrestler stiff shots, then selling should be easy.

Of course, that's just America. Pro wrestling in Japan, on the other hand, is another story.

lot of moves are fake but something like jumping from 15 high cage, chairshots and many dectifying moves are real
pro wrestling is a combination of 60 % acting and 40 % atheleticism
if u watched wwe or any other pro wrestling show on tv, u would notice that it matches runs on a storyline patern.
pro wrestling was never considered as a sport as oppose to the real ( amatuer) wrestling
pro wrestling on tv is basically reality tv where perfomers are highly trained professionals who acts and perform highly dangerous stunts ( they are also choreographed)
and regarding i think u mean cena bleeding in his matches
actually the blood u see on their faces arent real, that is just red colored liquid packets they hide under their arm pits and when the time comes to use the blood the wrestler secretly goes out from the sight of camera and secretly smashes the liquid on his forehead and thats how u see a wrestler bleeding
pro wrestling is no different from real world on mtv, its all part of act and entertainment

Well, Technically wrestling is fake, i admit.(because I'm a wrestling fan) the punching and kicking are fake, but when they do Other stuff like throw each other off something, hit them with something or throw them into a chair or something, or even smack them with a chair, its real

its kinda fake they do beat the hrell outa each otha bt the reason they are able to get up is coz they hav an anesthetic so they dont feel the pain. then they also begin to bleed if the pills they take are worn out. and though they baet each otha they already knw who has won the match coz its all scripted bt hw they fight is all their ish.

besides that ish aint real coz tripple h is mr macmahon's son-in-law...

I think most is fake, the only thing that i think was real was when owen hart died in the ring.

But you couldn't say it was fake to my greatgrandma, she would kick you out of the house if she heard anything bad like wrestling was fake.

Yes it's all fake, and I have a pretty pink unicorn living in my room! Sure some hits are fake but obviously not all of it is, get you're facts straight.

Yeah all the story lines are set up all the matches are rigged but the moves do hurt just not as much as they pretend they do. They are very good actors you have to admit.

Yes, don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. All the winners are predetermined. Although they do make contact, it is all staged. It is like the Soap Operas your mom watches, just with giant muscle men who couldn't hack it in the NFL. If you want real fighting watch the UFC.
