Bill Cosby said that "I don't know what the secret to success is... but the key to failure is to try and please everyone"... so make sure that you do things that you want to do, and not because you feel obliged to do them. Take time out to do small things that make you happy... fresh flowers at home, baking a cake, going for a walk, watching a silly movie... you know what things make you smile, and they will make each day a little more special than it was before.
Also Eleanor Roosevelt said "that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent' , so go out there and be proud of who you are, what you have achieved and how you live your life and do not let others dictate to you how you should feel about any of these things... life may seem mundane now, but things will change and you can often be the catalyst for that change.
I hope that helps a bit...

Ever watch the old film classic "It's a Wonderful Life"? Remember at the end of the movie when Jimmy Stewart reads the words that Clarence wrote in the book that he gave him?
" No man is a failure who has friends"
This is so true for everyone. When you have friends to talk to and support you, they can get you through anything. Take a few minutes to walk outside on a sunny day, through the park, or down by a lake, and just listen and look around at all of nature and how beautiful it sounds. There is so much beauty and appreciation of beautiful majestic tall oak trees on a spring day with the early morning sun rays shining through and the birds singing in it's branches.
Take a moment to enjoy a colorful sunrise or sunset and breathe in the fresh air, walk along a beach or by a river and listen to the waves,it's so relaxing and refreshing. Walk through a flower garden,or just take a trip to the florist and smell the fragrance of all the blooms. There is so much to be thankful for!

life is a hard place to be. but you will eventually find something that will make everything just look brighter and happier, a few days ago I was also just studiying, school, or working on stuff when suddenly over a 3 day period something happened to me(I won't get into details) but after that I now feel that all the stuff I hated and complained about before dosn't seem that bad, all i have to do is think about that situation and feeling I had.
hope one of these will come to you soon

Keep things balanced. An inspiring book amoung your dental study books will help heaps.
A lot of dentists can burn out easily without another sorce of encouragement (after all, many kids scream at the dentists, but when they have a tooth ache, you are their hero)
Try "Chicken Soup for the Soul" - lots of little experiences from many and varied writers. You can pick it up for 3 minutes or 30 minutes ...
Take care and have fun.
