Because even though youngsters are stealing full time positions from people who have not yet reached retirement age as they come with a much 'cheaper' price-tag, it doesn't mean they know what the H their doing as far as politics. They can't wipe their behinds clean, let alone run for office. They must learn what this world is really about and run their lives first. Get jobs as juniors and pages within the system of government then maybe they can learn enough to get them a chance.

Because they are politicians and almost all the politicians have one thing in common is GREED. All most all of them are interested in there own well being and the well being of their families. They will stick to their seats till someone from his family is eligible to take over.

We should have a policy where one cannot be a CM or PM for more than 5 years and there should be a retirement age for all politicians. There should also be a medical test and each politician should prove his fitness like the employees of MNC's that they are mentally fit to be in a important position.

Generally good n knowlegdeble (serious type) youngsters inclined to politics are very less. Even if they enter politics n want to do something good to public, they will not be able to survive the old cunning jackals tricks. Only young roughians, rowdy sheeters and goon enter politics because they are encouraged and used by old veterans to meet their ends. They are groomed and at a later stage they become greedy, cunning and experienced manipulating politicians who will stick to their positions at any cost bcoz they can't do any thing other than that. Its a vicious circle. If a break is needed, it needs revolution!

Young politicians are no angels. The TN CM albeit his age is mentally an alert person. It is only because of his indispensability and unanimous acceptability in the party, which his son, Mr. Stalin or any other leader is lacking, he is in the gaddi.
