It will take alot longer than 2 to 3 weeks. My husband's visa took almost 9 months to get sorted and we had plenty of evidence that our relationship was real.We had been married at that stage for 14 years and have 3 children together.I hope that no matter how long it takes that your new life in Australia treats you well.

No sorry it take 6-12 months it is because you are out of the Philippines and australia doesn't like when to other cultruel groups marry like African, Asian, Sth AMerican it takes longer for you then for an Europen or American. BUt youy will get in sometime you also maybe get in faster if you have a specil skill that Australia needs.

It took me nearly a year, a couple of thousand dollars to get a visa after I married my Aussie husband. They also ask for A LOT OF PROOF that you are in a REAL marriage. If not, then don't bother because Immigration will figure it out. It's a very long and difficult process.

It took my wife 12 months and around $7000 and she's from the US. If your from the Philippines, it could take longer!
