Trolling around in chat rooms I've heard people talking about Animal Crossing WW and friend codes and going to people's towns.
How do people do this? How do people visit each other's town? I have no clue about this as I bought the game without a manual in a generic box. And what exactly is WiFi?
Thanks for all the help!

You need a friend with AC-WW. Then you trade Friend codes.
To do this, you need a friend nearby or for WiFi a Wireless router that works with the DS, or the WiFi USB Stick for your PC.

Go to the northern part of your town. There should be a big gate. Talk to the dog on the right to ask for your Friend code. Write that 16 digit number down, and tell this number your friend. Your friend must do the same, and give you his number.

Now you must open your Adress list (the heart icon on top of the menu bar, when you open the map or inventory screen).
Enter the new friend code.

When both of you have their codes in the adress book, one has to open the gates to invite guests, and the other has to leave the gates to visit other cities.

Oh boy. >.< Where to start? You better e-mail me so I can determine if you can use wifi. If you can maybe we can meet up in a chat room and I'll walk you through it or something. Basically you're going to use your ds to connect to the internet and then you'll be able to go to other people's towns.
