call of duty 2 support?

why does my mouse have a delay on game play single or multiplayer, It is really annoying and I can't fix it. Use to have a wireless mouse and got a wired mouse thinking it was that, but still has a delay in movement. Help please!!!!!

I have a X1300 ATI Radeon video card WITH 512MB. Nothing is running in the background when I play this game.
