I try never to. I lost my mom unexpectedly, young. She was alive one day, dead the next. No warning. Then after 2 healthy children I had a son born with kidney disease. I had taken the good health of my children for granted before. Never again. Not to sound cliche, but I do not sweat the small stuff, nor do I worry about anything. I appreciate the smallest detail and don't let things bother me. Life is much easier.

I think these are things that most healthy people take for granted without much thought.

It isn't until we are confronted with someone with a disability or lose our own ability that often we realize just how precious these things are.

It is good to remember to be grateful for everything!
