The 3-day rule is bologna. It's a game, its a way to protect yourself, its a way to stay safe and play it cool. True relationships are the total opposite of what you're accomplishing with the "3-day rule." They're about being vulnerable, opening yourself up, saying what's on your mind and in your heart. It's the same thing with the "I'm really busy" comment. When a person is too busy to make a phone call, write an email, or set up a date then that person isn't really ready for a real relationship either.

I've always thought that was astupid rule and makes the girl feel like a piece of ***. If you really like her give her a call the next day but keep it short, don't make concrete plans but do mention getting together later that week
