When I say "non-traditional" I am saying, "besides basketball, soccer, American football, baseball, tennis, bowling, hocky, and virutally any other sport that has ever been shown on TV (strictly basic cable, not interested in what sports they show on channel "205" with Direct TV)"
Some of my favorites include Capture the Flag, "Gaga" * Badmitten, and Dodgeball.
*played in a dirt pit enclosed by a short wooden wall--a bunch of players move around in the pit. The goal is to hit the handball at people's legs, and if the ball touches your legs, you are out...I'd love to know if people have heard of this game

Tug of war is a fun activity not just a picnic event I'm talking about competitions.
I like to watch nordic ski jumping not traditional in the USA , so I look for web video links.

I remember playing dodge ball in school. Man that game rocked BIG time. Its funny because since the movie Dodgeball came out there are actual leagues that have formed. Horseshoes is fun at the cottage drinking some beers too. Can get some pretty heated games going.

I used to really like murder ball back in school. lol I like thumb tackling once in a while. Mostly, I enjoy playing pool. It's a different game each time, and it's challenging. I also love to skip stones. Now that's something I am really good at ;)
