As statistics show over 60% of the US population is overweight, does anyone else notice an increasing double standard when it comes to skinny people, particularly women? I see more insulting comments about very thin people than overweight people these days. It's not pc to make fun of overweight people, but skinny is ok? Are they not opposite extremes of the same problem? Is being overweight just becoming the norm? Many men I know seem to like women who are not just average, but actually overweight, over a slim girl. Are standards changing to accomodate the majority? Fashion designers have already fed egos with their vanity sizing, forcing smaller women into children's sections. I'm interested to hear some other people's opinions on this
