How did you get interested in Star Trek? Was it a family member, co-worker or a friend?
Also, which one of the five Star Trek shows did you first watch that got you hooked before you watched any other Trek show?
For me, I started watching The Next Generation with my uncle - he was the one who got me to watch the shows. I am not into the Kirk series - I like Voyager more with Captain Janeway.

I just remember watching rerun of the original series back in the 70s. I didn't really start watching TNG until near the end of the third season, but that renewed my love for the ST franchise.

I am ashamed to admit that I have been to a couple of conventions, but none since I've been married. Unfortunately, the popularity of the series has waned quite appeared. This is partially due to getting away from Gene Roddenberry's creative vision and also running out of ideas. Janeway is no Sisko and Sisko is no Picard. And the latest series, Enterprise, was just plain boring.

The one I like most is The Next Generation, Pickard was badass and the ep where he was captured and tortured will always be burned into my memory as one of the best hours on TV. Second is Deep Space Nine, I never got into Voyager though... sorry.

I don't really know how I started watching them.

I just remember thinking Spock was such an interesting character when I was little.
The first episode I saw was "Arena" of The Original Series, and I've been hooked ever since.
TOS is my favourite, but I also really like TNG (mainly because of Data).
I watch Voyager every now and again, but I haven't seen very many episodes.

I didn't watch ST when it first aired, not until it went into syndication. I had a roommate who was in love with Mr. Spock - she loved his ears and the fact that he was so unemotional. I personally would probably watch Pigs in Space if it came on every week. Even at 55, I still would LOVE to go up in the space shuttle. And trust me - if I don't like a space movie, there's really something wrong with it.
