about a week ago in school something happened and my 3 best friends all got in trouble 4 it....and yesterday i found out that one of them is moving and that my other 2 best friends are both going 2 be sent 2 the catholic school about a half hour away from here because there parents dont want them going 2 public school anymore. they are really the only friends i have (im really shy and its hard 4 me 2 make friends) other then 2 boys that i barely ever hang out with. i know there is nothing i can do about my friend moving and the other 2 going 2 a different school but is there anything i can do 2 make it easier 4 me 2 make new friends??

geeez. must have been some big trouble. But I won't pry. I move,
A LOT, so I know what's like to lose friends. But you'll be fine. Maybe your friends leaving will encourage you to break free. You must TRY to be self confident and outgoing. And in reality, with a little effort you won't actually lose your old friendss-just be SURE to keep in touch.

Trick: Pretend you're not shy. seriously.

Keep your head high walking down the hall, don't pretend you don't see someone-eye contact and a simple hello will get you pretty far.

But whatever, maybe you actually know all this--just actually try to practice it.

Join some after school activities or clubs. You will meet new people with similar interests and form new friendships with them. Stay in touch with your other friends who are moving to a different school - 30 minutes isn't all that far away, and you guys can still hang out on the weekends!

They got in trouble but you didn't??? Make new friends and study hard to get out of that school. Don't worry, you'll grow up and get over this. Until then, study, work out and keep the zits off your face.

Well start with changing your Yahoo Answers name. But really besides that - keep talking. This is a good start here. But talk to a counselor if you can. Shyness is really a temporary and can be overcome.
