I have a presentation due tomorrow and all I can do is sit and watch tv. Maybe I should just turn it off but 24 is coming on and I'm not going to miss that. I'm actually trying to do homework early but I love the idiot box.

I think you answered your question and I empathize because I still recall the extreme distraction even the buzz from an off channel TV that was enough of an obstacle as to prevent me from being able to concentrate on my studies too. It's difficult to find the calm focus required along with needed motivation sometimes.

Trust me, I am in medical school, and I am supposed to be studying for finals... well they aren't till may, but they are HUGE exams... and look at where I am.

I think it's that you'll need the adrenaline rush like 2 hours before the presentation and then you'll see yourself doing it.

It could have to do with the fact that you think that you're as prepared as you can be at this point, and fussing over it now isn't going to be of much good...

Ask yourself this... what's more important the tv or my education? You can have them both .. Watch what you like and then turn it off and the pc and get to studying.
